Is this real?? We have just one month of life in the United States until we move to the Philippines. Our prayer as we traveled back from Guatemala was for our time to be spent wisely- visiting with our families, raising our remaining support, and packing our things. The Lord has truly blessed us with lots of time spent in Corinth and Batesville (and a few places in between), people who are interested in being part of our support team by praying and giving, and well..I'm sure we'll get to that packing thing! However, I've tried to document our time here, so enjoy some pictures of what a crazy newlywed couple with no home does in their last few weeks :)

We've also had a fish fry, spoken at a couple churches, and we're about to take a weekend getaway to Hattiesburg. As you can see, our time has been well spent! Almost simultaneously we begin to miss our families and homes while anticipation grows each day to be in the Philippines. We are excited to move into our first home and to meet the people. We can't wait to know the language and make disciples. And more than anything, we are excited to be exactly where the Lord has told us to be. This morning while running the Father reminded me how blessed it is to get to pour our lives out for His Name and His Kingdom. We are nothing special. We certainly aren't professionals and we by no means have this whole Christian thing figured out. I doubt we ever will :) But we are falling more in love with our Savior all the time and we long to know Him more.
Please continue to pray for Josh and me. Some specific requests are:
- Our last month in the States- to press in to the Lord as the enemy wants so badly for us to fall apart
- For the Holy Spirit to enable us to learn Tagalog (the Philippine language)
- For us to raise our final support
I'll leave you with some words far better than my own. "
But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been SET FREE FROM SIN, you became slaves to RIGHTEOUSNESS." Romans 6:17-18
