Home is where I'm with you

Since we've been married, we have basically been a couple of nomads. haha. We've stayed everywhere from St. Maarten for our honeymoon, to Corinth, Batesville, Hernando, and Atlanta. We've been living out of suitcases and we are totally disorganized, but it's been fun and the Lord has provided some sweet times. We've been able to go to family birthday parties, speak to a Sunday school class and a Civitan club about Trek-X, and get rested and prepared for our two years in the Philippines.

As for our time in Atlanta, the Lord blessed us with a team who was almost totally self-sufficient. Josh and I were able to serve alongside them in the apartment complexes and really enjoyed our week in the International Village. Enjoy some pictures from the trip:

We leave tomorrow (Monday, July 2) to go to Guatemala for the rest of July! Please be in prayer for us as we serve in a few different villages and slums. We will be going to a couple of the villages that I served in last summer, and I can hardly wait for Josh to meet some of the sweet people who I fell in love with. Please pray for our Spanish skills to come back to us quickly, for our health and safety, for us to be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led, and for us to be servant leaders as we lead the youth groups. God is moving in Guatemala and we are excited to be a part it. We will keep you updated over the next few weeks with pictures and stories.

"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."         Ephesians 3:20-21
